A page to hold definitions of terms for any of the subjects discussed on Old Tools.

Unanswered questions at this point: 1. Do we want to set up high level categories, for example: woodworking, carpentry, metal working. I'm sure that they are many more that can be added.

Perhaps having a format such as:
1:(category1) Definition 1...
2:(category2) Definition 2...
The reason I suggest against splitting the dictionary into categories is, for example: Dovetail applies to all of those categories. However denoting a category/application of a word makes sense to me. However, doing so is really part of the definition not the organization of the page. Also, I believe this should be a dictionary, with concise entries. When an article is present that details the word it should be linked to. Example:
 ; [[WORD]]
  :1:(category1) Definition 1...
  :2:(category2) Definition 2...

Which looks like:

1:(category1) Definition 1...
2:(category2) Definition 2...

2. Is there a way to sort them

Alphabetically seems best and has been implemented. I'll look into a search bar at the top of the page or on a separate search page. --Brian Rytel (talk) 00:50, 16 October 2012 (AKDT)

3. Other ideas

I feel that putting sources on- or offline into <ref>resource cited</ref> cleans up the page. The number [#] points to the bottom of the page where the full link resides.--Brian Rytel (talk) 00:50, 16 October 2012 (AKDT)
